Our nationally accredited training course –  RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces also called Confined Space Entry and Gas Test Atmospheres is a course designed to teach participants how to identify confined space hazards and work safely in confined spaces. This training course is designed for people who work in or around confined spaces. Participants will learn to complete hazard identifications, risk assessments and work permits for confined space operations and how to operate various confined space safety equipment. Practical entries into confined spaces will be made. Practical rescue scenarios will be also covered. This unit covers the entering and working in confined spaces in resources and infrastructure industries. It includes planning and preparing for entry of confined spaces, entry and working in confined spaces, exiting confined spaces and cleaning up.

Diamond Protection Training RTO No. 32273 provides nationally accredited training in RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces  and MSMWHS217 Gas test atmospheres also called Confined Space Entry and Gas Test Atmospheres.  Training can be conducted on your site or at one of our training facilities.

TRAINEE MUST PROVIDE:

Transport

Lunch

Appropriate clothing, closed in footwear

PRE-REQUISITES

Be at least 15 years of age

DURATION:

1 day

Start – 0800 – Finish – 1600 (extra time may be added for reassessment of students if required)

ASSESSMENT:

Theory (60%) and practical (40%)

WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY:

A non-refundable fee will be charged when attendance at a program is transferred and / or cancelled less than three working days before the program commences. No refund will be provided for non-attendance at a program without notice. Publicly available programs may be cancelled by Diamond when minimum participant numbers are not reached. Diamond will notify participants by telephone or email no later than three working days before the program is due to commence – a full refund will be given.
