COURSE OVERVIEW
This course provides participants with the confidence and competence required to perform CPR on an unconscious casualty, in the context of those having suffered electrocution. This training course is taught according to the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This training course takes personnel through both the theory of why we do CPR and many practical exercises that illustrate how CPR is performed, The LVR component of this training covers the skills and knowledge required for a person to be able to carry out a risk assessment of an electrically hazardous situation and perform low voltage rescue, this has a 12-month validity

Correct use of the low voltage rescue kit
Maintain and use safety/rescue equipment

Conduct D-R-S-A-B-C-D
Provide CPR on adults
Roll patient into recovery position

TRAINEE MUST PROVIDE
Transport

Appropriate clothing, closed in footwear
PRE-REQUISITES
Be at least 15 years of age
DURATION
4-5 hours face to face training
Start – 0730 – Finish – 1230 (extra time may be added for reassessment of students if required)

WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY
A non-refundable fee will be charged when attendance at a program is transferred and / or cancelled less than three working days before the program commences. No refund will be provided for non-attendance at a program without notice. Publicly available programs may be cancelled by Diamond when minimum participant numbers are not reached. Diamond will notify participants by telephone or email no later than three working days before the program is due to commence – a full refund will be given.
